Templar

What is the Prominent Guide for the Templar?

When you are looking for a game guide. it’s important to ask yourself what kind of guide are you looking for and your style of play. If you’re interested in making the best use of your time when playing as a Templar, then you will want a guide that specializes outlining the most efficient progression route for this class. You will also want a high quality guide that is also inexpensive. There is nothing worse than dropping $40 on a guide that fails to answer all of your questions. Aside from how specific the guide is written for the purposes of playing as a Templar, other factors include how up-to-date and detailed the rest of the information listed is so you will have a general grasp of the game as a whole. So let’s examine the following three guides.

The Unofficial Elder Scrolls Online Templar Guide by Scott Campbell

elder scrolls online templar guide

This elder scrolls online templar guide has a strong emphasis on revealing the most efficient routes toward character progression and expediting the grinding process toward level 50. In addition, it details information on how to play an offensive, support, or defensive role as the Templar class.

This guide respects your time and claims you will reach level 50 in less than seven days. The author has written it in a clear and easy-to-follow style that benefits both newbies and veterans. Furthermore, the guide shows you how to level your Templar character solo so you don’t have to rely on others to carry you through the harder mobs.

The author acknowledges that some quests are more profitable than others. He outlines these profitable quests and aims to reduce the time you spend questing blindly. This also means you will avoid mind-numbing grinding. Furthermore, the guide presents you with three “core” Templar builds with room for experimentation. These builds are effective in both PvE and PvP settings.

This Unofficial Elder Scrolls Online Templar Guide offers strategies explaining how to maximize your character’s damage output so you can focus on strategy and execution rather than min-maxing your build. The information in it is up-to-date with the current patch. In addition, this guide is the least expensive of the three, priced at $29.99.

home-page-imageThe ESO Mastery Guide aims to reduce the amount of time you spend leveling up your character and earning money. It also provides advanced strategies for PvE and PvP gameplay. As some players feel overwhelmed by the amount of freedom they’re given in an MMO, this guide outlines progression routes that feel natural and allow you to pick up collectibles along the way. It also specializes in listing crafting paths so you don’t spend too much time wondering if there is better gear you could be working toward.

The thing about MMOs is that what may be true today may be wrong two months after. The authors are well-aware of this fact and promise to keep their guide up-to-date whenever the game receives a patch. In addition, subscription to this guide includes 24/7 customer support.

Although this guide does not specialize in the Templar class (thus, there will be less dedicated manpower geared toward keeping the Templar metagame up-to-date) it does include detailed information regarding the collectibles of the game and maps and locations for crafting materials, something theelderscrollsonlineguide.com fails to mention. It is important to note that there are six different guides altogether and each one is priced at $37.00. Unfortunately, this means purchasing all the information they have to offer would cost more than $200!

theelderscrollsonlineguide.com

bundle-medThe author of this elder scrolls online guide has an extensive background with both the Elder Scrolls series and the MMO scene (e.g., Rift and Lord of the Rings Online). It is mostly geared toward beginner players, but does list detailed information on the endgame as well. Overall, they offer a stronger emphasis on the intricacies of the crafting system and how to make gold in the fastest way possible. It also has a list of every skyshard (i.e., for every three of these collectibles, you will gain an extra skill point) in the game.

The author understands that a game should be fun! Every progression route feels natural and satisfying. Namely, the quest line the author recommends avoid repeating the same dungeon and, thus, every experience will feel fresh as the developers intended. Plus, this guide promises you will reach level 50 in roughly a week.

This guide has a more general outline for each individual class. So if you’re looking to get a feel for each class before committing to one, this guide will give you a snapshot of what it’ll be like to play as one of the four main classes. However, this guide may not have the same amount of detail when it comes to detailing Templar-specific strategies.

Summary

Each guide excels in one area more than the other. For example, the theelderscrollsonlineguide.com is only $37.00 and still offers a lot of relevant information about the game. However, the ESO Mastery Guides has the added benefit of having an entire team devoted to keeping the information up-to-date but it can be the most expensive of the three. and might not worth your buck if you’re mainly only interested in mastering the Templar class. If you’re only focus on learning the Templar class, then you will be satisfied with the Unofficial Elder Scrolls Online Templar Guide.

The Class System in Elder Scrolls Online

The article below could give a good idea on Templars. If you're looking for something more extensive, our friends at Killer Guides have put together an amazing digital handbook . That guide is the cat's pajamas. It not only comes with a slick, class-specific leveling guide, but has some killer information on the best builds and PvP tactics.

Classes in Elder Scrolls Online are more about focusing development than defining your character. Unlike most massive multi-player online role playing games, ESO allows the freedom to create as dynamic or concentrated a build as you want. Players level skill and weapon trees unrestricted by the class chosen. So if you want an archer with healing prowess or a tank that grabs aggro from the shadows, you can dapple in another skill tree without weakening the overall ability of your adventurer. Each class offers unique skills and ways of utilizing them. All four have multiple purposes so you can be a tank, healer, or dps without having to stick to a preordained build.

Nightblade

Nightblades use shadows and the night to ambush opponents; It is the only class that can enter stealth while in combat. With the bonuses that medium armor gives to sneak and agility, you can attack quickly and duck back into the shadows. One of the Nightblade skill trees gives you the ability to siphon energy from your enemies. You do not just harm them, you take their health to restore your own. They act as rogues: when they cannot be seen they are the most deadly.

Templar

Templars are more prone to face to face combat. They use the power of the burning sun and its light to damage surrounding enemies. The skill trees offer aggressive damage, spells to weaken opponents, and healing abilities to keep your friends alive. It has a lot of DOTs and HOTs, making Templars the fastest class in the game. With this efficiency, you can build a powerful tank or a fearsome dps with healing as an effective backup. You can also pour everything into restoration and protection aspects, to control the battle in your allies’ favor.

Dragon Knight

Dragon Knights are the jack of all trades. Every class can do anything with the free system in Elder Scrolls Online, but the Elder Scrolls Dragon Knights express this most. They embrace the ancient Akaviri martial arts traditions, using battle spirit to conquer foes. They use magic to stun and control enemies. Combining their precise control with the weaponry of your choice allows for the highest damage counts in the game. Their skills are largely flame based, including fiery breath and magma armor. They physically alter the world around them: no opponent can escape destruction once they’ve heard a Dragon Knight’s battle roar.

Sorcerer

Sorcerer magic materializes as weather phenomenon. They use tornadoes and lighting to damage foes but that is just the beginning of their capabilities. They can buff the effectiveness of later spells, produce magical armor to defend against damage, or physically stun oncoming threats. Sorcerers have the unique ability to summon minions to their aide. While the class is mainly focused on magic use to thwart enemies and protect allies, they can also use weapons in ways that other classes cannot. A sorcerer can infuse a bow with magic to kite enemies from afar.

ESO Class Overview

Whether you build a traditional tank with high health and thick armor, or one that siphons enemy energy to keep its health strong, you will be pleased with the effectiveness of your character. Every class can wield any weapon, wear any armor, and raise any attribute. This make gold making strategy to be very important. Leveling your weapons unlocks new skills to make them more efficient. Light armor can be given to faster tanks, or heavy armor to archers who are not so concerned with movement but need the hp bonus. Health, Magick, and Stamina can be equally balanced to suit an adventurer with many talents, or focused to maximize a role. The class system in Elder Scrolls Online is open to creativity, so tinker with it.

Build Guild for Solo/Group Templar Gameplay

The article below could give a good idea on Templars. If you're looking for something more extensive, our friends at Killer Guides have put together an amazing digital handbook . That guide is the cat's pajamas. It not only comes with a slick, class-specific leveling guide, but has some killer information on the best builds and PvP tactics.

In the Elder Scrolls Online, it is totally up to you to play solo or as a group to explore the land of Tamriel. Of cause, each type will require different character builds. Here is an example of the popular Templar builds and how they work for each type of gameplay.

Group Build

ESO group playIn a group build, it’s best to observe the ‘holy trinity’ of battle. You need a Tank, Healer, and a Damage Dealer. With the Templar, you can easily be a Tank or Healer. The most important factor in creating a character for the group dynamic is: your own fighting style. If you prefer evading your assailant, your Templar would be best suited to being a healer. The healing Templar is played well as a member of the Argonian race (Reptilian Humanoids) with its Restoration Staff XP bonus or the Breton with its Magika boosts. The Argonian or Breton Templar builds work best with Medium Armor (for evasion) and, of course, the Restoration Staff.

If you plan to play as a Tank with your party, you will find it advantageous to play as an Altmer. Though Altmer’s abilities are for themselves, the boosts in your Magicka will help you defend your group with your Templar’s Aedric Spear or Dawn’s Wrath abilities more effectively.

Solo Build

eso solo play

When playing solo, your character needs to strike a balance between combat skills and defensive abilities to win in battle. You do not have to spread yourself thin by attempting to become a jack-of-all-trades, but you need to know your strengths, strategies, and how to make up for your weaknesses. Luckily, when you play as the Templar, your character already has the two important natural traits: being a gifted healer and fighter.

As a Templar, choosing the Breton race to maximize the healing power with their Magicka boosts is a solid choice for a group or solo play healer. However, to make balanced character for better solo play, when placing skill points, give your healing Breton Templar some abilities from Dawn’s Wrath or Aedric Spear. The Tank Altmer Templar mentioned in the group build section in elderscrollslevelingguide.com, could also be a better solo player in eso leveling if you give him some of the abilities from the from the Restoring Light skill set. In ESO, you can also combine 2 types of armor for mixed effects any way you like but it is also effective to instead give a Breton healer full heavy armor to make him a healing tank.

If you are looking for a good guide for your templar, I recommend you to read this article. It's my personal opinion on one of the most prominent templar guides out there.
